My first sc cashout, how it actually went start to finish
#1
Newer to this and nervous about the whole redemption thing, so I figured I'd write up my first one in case it helps someone else in the same boat.

Built up about 55 SC over a couple weeks, mostly off daily free coins and a couple small Gold Coin buys. Hit the redeem button for cash and that's when KYC kicked in. Uploaded my license, did a selfie, and sent a utility bill for proof of address.

Verification took about a day and a half. I'll be honest I'd half convinced myself it was a scam by then and I was sweating it.

Then it cleared, picked ACH to my bank. Money showed up 3 business days later. Real dollars, in my account, from Waco. Smaller than a Louisiana trip would've netted but it was real.

Anything I should know before my second one goes smoother? And yeah I'm keeping it small and fun, not chasing it.

Congrats, and that timeline is textbook for a first one. The slow part really is just the one-time KYC, second redemption onward is much quicker because you're already verified.

One tip: keep the name on your bank account matching the name on your ID exactly. I've seen people verify fine but then the ACH bounces because the account was under a spouse's name or a nickname. Small thing, saves a headache.

Three days on ACH is normal. If you ever want it faster, some sites offer Skrill and a couple do gift cards which clear quicker, sometimes same day, though gift card minimums are usually lower so it's handy for smaller amounts.

Mah, ACH is free and I'm patient, so I just plan around the 2 to 3 day wait now.

Good writeup, and good that you started small. That's exactly the right way to test a site.

Just remember the part that makes this work is no purchase necessary and the free SC route. The second you find yourself buying Gold Coin packs to "get to" a redemption, the math flips against you fast. Treat the redemption as a nice surprise, not the plan. Sounds like you've got the right head about it.
